Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Meriq handles information when you visit meriq.cc or use the Meriq application (together, the “Services”). In this policy, “Meriq,” “we,” and “us” mean the operator of the Services.
2. Information handled by the Services
Depending on how you use the Services, we may handle:
- Session and onboarding information, such as a session credential, email address, and application or network party identifiers you provide or create during onboarding.
- Wallet, account, and transaction information needed to show balances, request quotes, manage liquidity, and submit or reconcile transactions that you instruct through the application.
- Technical preferences, including the session and onboarding state stored in your browser and your analytics preference.
- Correspondence you send to us, including requests sent through our published contact channel.
3. Why we use information
We use this information to operate and secure the Services, authenticate sessions, complete the actions you request, provide support, investigate misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where consent is required for optional analytics, we rely on your choice.
4. Browser storage, cookies, and analytics
The application uses browser storage and a session cookie to maintain your signed-in state and onboarding progress. Removing that storage or the cookie may sign you out or require onboarding again.
Optional analytics are limited to public pages and resources. If analytics are enabled for the Services, we ask before loading them. Choosing “Allow analytics” permits page and selected public-link interaction measurement; choosing “Decline” prevents that analytics loading. Meriq does not send wallet addresses, balances, or trade data to optional analytics.
5. Sharing and network records
We may share information with service providers that help run the Services, where necessary to complete an action you request, or where law requires it. When you submit a network transaction, relevant transaction information may be recorded on the applicable network or ledger. Those records can be durable and may not be erasable by Meriq.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Services, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service or network can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You can manage browser storage through your browser settings and can decline optional analytics when prompted. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold by contacting us. Some information may need to be retained, and network records may not be changeable or removable.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Services change. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@meriq.cc.
